Richard Avedon was an American professional fashion and portrait photographer. He was born on May 15, 1923 in New York City. In 1946 his photographs began appearing in the magazines Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, and Life.
These pictures were taken by Richard. They are of famous actors and actresses. I like that they are in black and white. The one of Audrey Hepburn is cool because the focus is on the raindrops and you can see her behinds the window but not clearly. Her face looks a little distorted because of the raindrops. Also, it is cool how she is holding a cat.
Richard Avedon died on October 1st, 2004 in San Antonio TX. He took many iconic pictures of celebrities during his photography career, including of The Beatles like the one of John Lennon to the right.
